“ Spent 2 nights with my husband and friends. Quite a new place, feels like the house has recently been renovated. Simple interior. Bathroom is ok (except for a little cute froggy that came out of the shower drain). Location is fine but it's more comfortable to travel by tuk tuk as there is no sidewalk in town. The breakfast consisted of really good Sri Lankese food and was in another spot where the host took us in his car in the morning. The host is a very calm and friendly person and a chef, by the way: he even made us delicious Italian pasta for dinner at a very reasonable price. We loved it!”

“Room was spacious, clean, good bed. Close to the rock caves, no need for tuk tuk if you are willing to walk like 900 meters, but there are quite frequent buses also. Owner was very helpful, provided good advice. Even asked his friend to take me with tuk tuk to the bus terminal for free. From the bus terminal there is direct bus to Sigirya.”
“Good family hotel. They only have 3 rooms so really try to make you feel comfortable. It is located at a walking distance from the caves and 2 kms away from the bus station to take the bus to Sigiriya. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The day before I got to the hotel I got many mosquito bites, and they gave me the treatment for them. Good breakfast and Wi-Fi signal”
