On weekends they offer private tours to some of the places near by. Very affordable price and it looked like a VIP treatment tour. “This was our second time at Hotel Joremis, is still our home-away-from-home in Quito. Location is perfect, right on Avenida 6 de Deciembre, easy walking to lots of places, close to Foch Plaza and everything there. Also, taxis whizzing by all the time, easy to flag one down. Sylvia, the owner/manager, is really helpful, always gave us bottles of water when we set out for the day. Their breakfasts (included) are really good, and if you tire of their primary fare, they will fix something else for you. We love Hotel Joremis!”
“Hotel Joremis is a charming family run hotel. Sylvia, the owner, and her daughter, Renata, speak English, and were very helpful and informative. Our room (number 4) was quiet, clean, had comfortable beds, lots of hot water with good pressure, and was overlooking the interior courtyard. As one other reviewer mentioned, the bathroom looked a bit rough, but was spotlessly clean. The included breakfast included eggs, fresh fruit juice, cheese, ham and croissant, and as much fresh coffee as you want :) Each day breakfast was very good. We took advantage of the offered shuttle to the Mitad del Mundo ($40), and the airport ($35). Sylvia's husband drove us, and the equator visit also included a stop to Volcan Pululahua. Located in the Mariscal district; there are many great restaurants nearby, and the Centro Historical is a short $2 taxi ride away. For our 4 nights in Quito, Hotel Joremis was a good choice!”
