“Lovely hotel in a lovely setting. 10 min walk to ski hire shop where you could leave your skis and boots over night. The shop is right next to the gondola for Hochgurgl area which made it perfect. Free unlimited shuttle service to Obergurgl gave the hotel a nice edge as away from the main town. Highly recommended if a little expensive.”

“The staff at the Jagdhof are so helpful and keen to provide a very high level of service. They are very friendly, yet professional, taking the time to chat and enquire how our holiday was progressing. We loved the wellness suite - it was most calming after a day's skiing. The owners offer a complimentary transport service which was most appreciated and their local knowledge and advice was invaluable to us as ski newbies! The breakfast and the à la carte meals in the restaurant were delicious and beautifully presented. Such a lovely week!”

“Excellent hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We stayed in regular room and a suite and both were large and very comfortable, with excellent views. The restaurant is also fantastic, for both breakfast and dinner. We were there for skiing and Jagdhof proved a great location. It is located between the Hochgürgl gondola and the town of Obergürgl. There is a ski shuttle bus stop directly in front of the hotel and it is about one minute to the Hochgürgl lift. The ski room is awesome. With individual ski racks and heated boot racks.”

“- public ski bus every 10 minutes, one stop from ski slope - Hochgurgl/Obergurgl area is spectacular, much better ski resport than Solden - once you get past the obstacles, pastry and cheese selection for breakfast - restaurant serves decent food”

“The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The dining room was well appointed and the breakfasts were ample,with a great choice and all very fresh. Dinner was typical Austrian fare and well cooked. At first we thought it was too far away from town but realised with the bus stop right outside the hotel we could travel to either Hochgurgl and Obergurgl with excellent bus service. It was great to have the flexibility of dinner in the hotel or in town with a shuttle service provided by the hotel to take and collect in the evening. Altogether a fab experience”

“Staff were very accommodating at all times, as well as friendly and helpful. Nice rooms and great leisure centre. Shuttle service to and from the main village in the evenings was also very good. Would recommend anyone to stay here.”

“very nice family-operated hotel outside of Obergurgl between Hochgurgl lift and Obergurgl town. big rooms, great restaurant, comfy spa area with 3 saunas. staff is very friendly and always helpful. great panorama from rooms or restaurant. although in the middle of nowhere it has an easy connection by bus to Obergurgl or Sölden.”
