“Check in and out was pleasant , the staff were professional and friendly. We requested a Twin room and we were provided with one . The breakfast selection was good . We didn't receive table service apart from the 3rd morning. Beds were comfortable with good clean linen. We liked the "old world charm" , although very tired . Hopefully after the upcoming renovations , its former elegance will be reinstated.”

“The room was decorated in a very traditional "grand hotel" style, which was what we were looking for, it had a lot of personality. The beds were super comfortable, best night's sleep for the entire trip. Good breakfast included in our room rate. The hotel is walking distance to pretty much everywhere and yet is not on the major tourist track. Staff will park the car. The lobby and staircase are great photo backdrops.”

“The staff were excellent. Very friendly and attentive. We did stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms so found it clean, light and well appointed. Not sure what the other rooms were like. However the hotel is closing for six months to have a refit so should be very good throghtout the establishment. Really enjoyed it!”
