“Everything. Mostly the family who run it and show incredible care and patience with everyone, no matter where you are from. It's like being at home. Although there are no direct views unless you are lucky to have a balcony room, he grounds are beautifully kept and here's a sense of real pride. The walk down to the nearest beach seems daunting at first; but you get used to it and at an average pace, can be done in around five minutes down and ten up. just make sure you time it when it's most cool. I had a look round Citara which is 15 minutes down the road, although it has a lot more bustle and the sea is across the road from most hotels down there, I would still choose Hotel Ideal. The walk into Forio through ither the back streets or along seafront is stunning. I was lucky with r price of late booking and we decided to say on another two nights, Paola made but very hard to leave, negotiating although very fare last minute price.wpudl go back anytime. ”

“This is a very nice and quiet hotel located in a marvelous place near the village of Forio in Ischia. The staff is super friendly and they really make you feel as if you are part of the family. Exquisite pool with jacuzzi and warm water, gorgeous and beautiful garden, 15 minutes walk from the village, 5 minutes walk from the beach. It's a great value for your money, I would say that it's a 3 stars hotel that meets the standard of 4 stars. Would definitely recommend it. ”

“We loved our time at Hotel Ideal, the team and Paola were amazing! We were upgraded after our first night and had a lovely terrace apartment overlooking the garden and sea. We found our room was a good size and the bathroom very clean! Our wifi was also very good and we had no troubles. The main areas, gardens and pool were exceptionally clean and we felt very relaxed throughout our stay. We had a great selection for our continental breakfast and the coffee was Excellent!For English travelers, you are put at ease as everyone can speak English! You are only. 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Forio centre. It was great for us and we were very happy! Would definitely recommend to couples or families looking for somewhere relaxing to stay! Like everywhere in Ischia you need to be fully mobile, as it's very difficult to access the main parts if you have any problems with walking... ”

“Everything. The perfect place to enjoy Ischia's best sunsets. Our room was very clean and with a big balcony from where you can actually see the water. Just 5 minutes walk from one of the best beachs, a supermarket and a few restaurants. We reached the hotel by taxi from Ischia Port (€40) because we didn't wanted to waste time but you can take the public bus if you prefer. The pool zone is beautiful. Super relaxing. Breakfast was good too. Staff was very gentle and professional.”

“Partiamo dall’accoglienza...davvero ospitali sia Lena che Paola pronte a darti ogni indicazione su cosa fare e cosa vedere...la cucina, che abbiamo provato a pranzo molto buona, ed in particolare lo spaghetto alle vongole superlativo...la posizione e’ poi strategica sia per il centro che per la spiaggia di Citara, che si raggiungono in 10 minuti a piedi...spero vivamente di ritornare il prossimo anno”
