“The breakfast was absolutely delicious - I am really missing it now I am home! The resident chef was absolutely passionate about food and each day he offered up little samples of traditional Portuguese dishes including an amazing goat stew, a deliciously light and fluffy chocolate torte and a full flavoured seasonal vegetable frittata. The generous servings of orange juice from the Algarve was sweet and the seasonal fruit beautifully prepared and served up with a generous platter of breads and pastries. All in all the chef made the experience and I cant wait to return - I just hope he is still there!”
“The location was great. Near the university, Placa Republica, Botanical Gardens and about a 15 minute walk down to the pedestrian dining and shopping area. We enjoyed Chef Gil's lovely breakfast each day. We also used the indoor pool twice as well as the quiet enclosed patio area.”
