“We arrived to find a double bed instead of the twin beds we had booked. We were then given another room with twin beds but in a standard room instead of the superior we had paid for - nothing was mentioned about downgrading us to a standard room which we thought was bad. Maybe they thought we wouldn't notice?! We finally settled on a superior room with a very sloping roof for one night on the promise of moving us to a superior twin room for the remaining 2 nights of our stay. Breakfast was poor - watered down juice, cheap croissant style rolls, sandwich bread for toast. Having said that, once we were in the correct room it was clean and was everything we expected apart from no hot water on the morning we left! The hotel is in a very good central position just behind Rossio Square with some excellent restaurants close by and a small supermarket next door.”
