“We were on Crete for our honeymoon and had an excellent stay at Hara Ilios. Beautiful surroundings and very friendly and smiling staff. On our request the hotel had arranged for a taxi to pick us up. We arrived at the hotel around 4 am. We checked in and was brought to our room where a really sweet letter was waiting for us wishing us all the best with our marriage. It's tradition on Crete to eat honey and walnuts when getting married so the hotel also arranged that for us. Such a sweet gesture. We had breakfast and dinner included in our stay and were pleasantly surprised at the variety of different foods to choose from at both meals. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and smiling.”

Lovely touch as the towels were "shaped" into something different every day. Family run..which was obvious from the start of our holiday when on arrival we received a complimentary "little" bottle of their home-made lemonade..delicious:-) Great buffet breakfast selection...I even asked for the recipe for their home-made cereal bars..mmmmm. Pool area always clean and tidy...staff very attentive. I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel...5 stars!!!!!!!!”
