“This place was totally delightful. It is in a sort of "out of the way" town on the SE end of Iceland, but well worth the extra drive on Hwy 1 to go there. The staff were so pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. Our room was large and comfortable with a desk, plenty of lights and lamps, and a lovely view. The hotel is rather elegant, although in a sort of "dated" way. The food was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Really a charming place and staff. We were supposed to share the bathroom with guests in one other room, but there was no one in that room--so private bath!”
“We rent a cottage with 1 room. The cottage was very small and it was no comfortable because there is no place in the house for our luggage. So at least we put our luggage outside on the terrace. ”
