“Excellent service and very friendly staff. Good food too! The Guatatur Hotel is a very comfortable and convenient place to stay in Guatapé as it is so central and it has a lovely rooftop terrace where (included) breakfast is served and delicious meals are on offer from the menu. Our room was spacious and light with a nice view. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Anything we asked for was taken care of and nothing was a problem. I strongly recommend this hotel.”

“The best location in town, directly on the main square. View from the breakfast area is amazing as it's located on the roof terrace! Staff was very kind, room with lake view had enough space and a nice hot shower. Breakfast was good with eggs, fresh fruit, bread and coffee.”
“This property is amazing and is underrated on booking.com. Our room was great, especially because it had a balcony overlooking the square in Guatape. We stayed in the "standard" room and it was plenty comfortable. The bathroom is good sized for Colombia. The entire hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful. One specific compliment I really want to note is the chef (named Junior) in the rooftop restaurant is amazing. His food is delicious and his personality is outstanding. We went up to the roof to grab drinks at night and ended up talking to him for hours. I enjoyed everything about this hotel.”
“Breakfast. Close to an English style. White or brown square bread with a toaster. Have to specifically ask for butter and jam but the staff in the kitchen are so helpful . Delicious cut fruit. Eggs daily. Lake or The Rock views whilst you eat. Comfortable bed. On the main plaza with a small supermarket directly opposite. Less than 100m from where the Medellin buses arrive.”

“La atención es muy cordial y su ubicación es muy buena. Está cerca de la plaza del pueblo y de restaurantes. Sin embargo, si no desean salir del hotel para comer, éste cuenta con una terraza con una excelente vista y un ambiente muy acogedor. El chef es muy amable y en mi caso, se ofreció a preparar un plato que no estaba en el menú. Los cocteles y la comida son muy buenos y los precios son promedio. Cuenta con servicio de sauna gratuito pero que no pude usar por cuestiones de tiempo.”

“Hay que estar muy atentos, la atencion fue buena, sin embargo las fotos no coinciden en lo absoluto con lo que uno recibe al llegar al hotel, pague 120.000 pesos por cada noche por una habitacion que en otro lugar vale 50.000, las fotos que me mostraron al reservar están muy distantes de lo que disfrute. Habitación muy básica a precio muy alto. No volveria.”
