“It was so far to travel by bus back to the train station. There were no buses at the stop so we had to take the cable car. No taxis would even come to the hotel because it was so far and we had luggage.”

The onsen is spectacular and very clean, the traditional japanese room feels like home and the views to Mount Fuji made our stay one of the best in Japan. “Book the dinner and breakfast. You won't regret it. They were the most amazing buffets I have ever had. Can't recommend it highly enough. The hotel was beautiful as were the grounds. However, if you can, wait until good weather. We paid for a Fuji view room and had poor weather and couldn't see a thing.”
