“I like pretty much everything about this hotel. Especially there is a book lounge next to check in counter, quiet and enjoyable.”
“The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom! With the tatami area making it a great room to relax in and definitely big enough when travelling with children. The staff was very welcoming and friendly!”
“It was a great hotel! Close to the JR station and within walking distance to the shopping area in Karuizawa. The room is cozy and relaxing. I love the bathroom, there are both bath tub and shower available. The hotel also offers bicycle renting services at a low price and it goes from morning till 11pm. Would love to stay there again next time.”
“Upgrade to suite for free! And breakfast is nice! Close to station !”
“Close to attractions yet in a quiet vincinity. It's next to a very good shabu shabu restaurant. The staff were hospitable.”
“Location is fantastic, hotel is very comfortable and clean, and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back again!”
“Friendly staff Good breakfast Comfortable room”
“The hotel is so calm and quiet. It has a lovely cosy feel as there are only 14 rooms. The staff were unbelievably helpful, friendly and kind. They even upgraded us because there was a deluxe double room available for the night that we were there (I don't know how much this room costs but I would highly recommend it if you are thinking about booking it!). They let us check in early. They gave us maps, bus timetables and information leaflets. And in general they could not have made our stay more relaxed or enjoyable if they tried! It is also just up the road from the most amount supermarket/deli/food counter called Delicia. If you turn right out of the hotel and walk straight for about 10 minutes you'll see it on your left. Go there!”
“Great location! close to train station and convenience stores are close by. The room is spacious and neat! The hotel is very nice and all the staff are very friendly!”
“I absolutely loved this cozy place, especially the bathroom. They had a separate bathroom with a Japanese bath. I also liked their front area. Since this hotel was owned by a company that also owned a book publisher, it was like a full-on library. There is nothing around the place to eat breakfast, and I strongly recommend people to book breakfast. The 1300 yen breakfast was well worth it. The outlet shop nearby was filled with stores (Gucci, Chloe, Coach...etc.).”
