“This had the potential to be amazing but sadly it failed! we picked this spot for the location and the hot tub at the villa! sadly the hot tub didn't work the first night so we couldn't use it and the chap came down to sort but couldn't. next morning it was 60degrees so again couldnt use it. we then got back from a long day and still not working, so we moved villas which wasnt as nice as the villa we were in. and just added more stress to the trip. the staff were great, food and breakfast great and it is a really nice spot just a real shame about the hot tub, they did discount our stay but the damage was already done.”
“The views from the hotel are stunning. The hot tube outside left us speechless. Breakfast is delicious. The food served by the restaurant in the evening were tasty and very well presentes”
“-The staff was incredibly nice. -Breakfast selection was good. -The hot-tubs were quite warm; they were fun to visit. - tremendous views.”
“Hot tubs overlooking the lake, wake up calls for northern lights, hotel on a hillside so access to hill to see sunrise and northern lights was great. Food was decent enough but pricey (speaking as someone used to eating out in London) although Iceland is expensive.”
“We were in room 3 and had a great view of the mountains. Room layout was a little unconventional - in a good way (nice to see something different). Hot tubs were great and had a stunning view from them. Food was nice and the breakfasts had a great selection (although there wasn't any Skyr :( )”
“It was beautiful peaceful. The staff were lovely and helpful.”
“Fabulous views, excellent breakfast. Northern lights were magical!”
“This was a fun, quirky little hotel overlooking a beautiful fjord. Our room had a spacious sitting area, with the bedroom upstairs in a loft. The decorations around the hotel are an eclectic mix of interesting objects. The view from the dining room is stunning.”
