“We visited Elati in july -- perfect temperature (at 900m asl), an ideal spot for hiking, with plenty of hotels and taverns. Way less touristy than Kalambaka & off the beaten path of Meteora (yet only 45-mn drive away). Hotel Giamades was perfect for us: family-style management, spacious & tidy rooms, top-notch wifi -- we stayed in a 4-bedroom attic 'junior suite'. The managers were super-nice and helpful (prepared an great simple dinner for us the first evening). Things to know: 1/ a public kids playground is nearby (ask), 2/ go to the end of main street (opposite cafe distrato) for a map of hiking paths, 3/ if travelling from Ioannina (as we did) don't follow your gps and drive through Trikala/Pyli, not Chrisomilia.”

“Everything was Perfect and Clean. Staff kindly responded to every request. Excellent breakfast. Sufficient WiFi. Heating running 24/7. Details make the difference, fire place was prepaired every day and it required no efford to fired it up.”
“We were the only guests and received excellent service, lovely simple continental breakfast, really comfy bed and room. Fire made up in the room ready for lighting every night after a day's walking. Manager was super helpful and arranged us a taxi to Kalambaka. All good, highly recommend.”

“Σε ωραίο σημείο πολύ κοντά στο χωριό( με τα πόδια σε ένα λεπτό ) γενικά ήσυχη η περιοχή , ανετο καθιστικό με πόλυ ομορφες πολυθρόνες-καναπέδες Εξαιρετικό πρωινό με μεγάλη ποικιλία , και bonus τις χειροποίητες πίτες . Άνετα θα το πρότεινα ειδικά για ζευγάρι !”
