“The hotel is in a good location for the Frachey or Champoluc lifts. Perfect if you have a car like we did, need to catch the ski bus which stops 50yds up the road if you don't. Saint Jacques is very small and quiet so again you need transport for restaurants etc. Gianpaolo, the owner, is a legend !!! Nothing was too much trouble, a genuinely nice guy who was the perfect host. The breakfast was awesome. We very much enjoyed our stay and won't hesitate to go back.”
“The proprietor, Gianpaolo, could not have been more helpful, both before and during our stay. The breakfast was very impressive, and allowed us to fill up enough that late lunches were feasible on the slopes. The private bar in the hotel is great for pre-dinner drinks, and although the hotel is several km from most local restaurants, taxis are cheap, and we walked into Champoluc and back more than once for dinner. Gianpaolo's restaurant recommendations were spot on and we benefited from the Genzianella's discount at all of them. The rooms were comfortable - the beds extremely so - but perhaps a little old-fashioned in decor. It all added to the charm.”

“Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni molto piacevoli in questa struttura grazie soprattutto al grande senso di ospitalità dei gestori che sono sempre disponibili x consigli e piacevoli chiacchierate. La struttura è un buon punto di partenza x le escursioni a piedi di ogni difficoltà, ottima colazione con torte e marmellate fatte un casa...soggiorno in pieno relax. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Abbiamo soggiornato in una bella stanza con camera matrimoniale con la nostra bambina ed un ampio soggiorno dove hanno dormito i nostri 2 bambini; ampi spazi, piacevoli mobili in legno, angolo cottura ben composto.”
