“Hotel in an old castle in the centre of Porto Venere. The location is top. Rooms are clean but basic, but all you need if you are looking for a place to sleep. The owners/staff have been very friendly and helpful. Nice terrace to take breakfast in the morning or a drink in the aftrenoon. Hotel has a private car park. Be careful, to reach the rooms you need to climb up a lot of stairs — no elevator.”
