“Recently renovated, minimalist, rooms, yet with with everything you need. The room (courtyard side) was quiet and cozy. We never heard our neighbors. We didn't try the breakfast, but the Asian restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. Although really convenient to the subway, we walked everywhere from here.”

“Location: For our trip it was the perfect location. Checkpoint Charlie just a minute’s walk away, Gendarmenmarkt was a short easy walk as was a number of underground tube stations. Hotel: we stayed on a room only basis, so can’t comment on breakfast facilities. However, hotel had very comfy beds, clean and minimalistic room design, plenty of hot water for the shower, rooms lovely and warm (and temperature adjustable on radiator), free wifi throughout the hotel, friendly and helpful staff.”

“Very quirky and unusual, with brilliant and very friendly staff. Really not your typical large chain hotel. Some unusual and welcome additions to breakfast (try the grated tomato, and boil your own egg) and a very nice cocktail bar. Very good subway connection nearby, and also plenty of good restaurants.”
