“The meals are superb - main dishes, starters... Restaurant is definitely to recommend.”
“We arrived in the mid afternoon, and had no trouble checking in. Our bicycles were housed in a separate building under lock and key without any problems. There was a lift - a bonus as our rooms were on the first floor, and we have panniers that are awkward to carry. The hotel has been recently refurbished and the fitting are very modern and functional, and well designed. We had a balcony that gave out views of the mountains to the west, and our room faced away from the road, so was quiet. The towels were excellent, as was the free wifi. The buffet breakfast was very good. An enjoyable stay. The town is quite spread out along the road, but within walking distance there is a supermarket (closed Sunday), a couple of pizza restaurants and within the Hotel Freud building a small mini mart/grocery where there are essentials (milk, bread, canned goods and such like). There is an autobank just outside the main entrance, and tourist information just across the road.”
