“Excellent location several km from town, middle of countryside. Has own trout farm (the secret is in the name!) and dinner of baked trout was delicious.”

“We stayed only one night on our road trip between Stuttgart and Zurich. Had we known what we know after our overnight visit that we would have stayed for another night or perhaps two. We were charmed by the establishment and by the warm service the busy owner-manager extends herself. This local country style hotel appears to host local clients as well which brought us to capture, for the little time of our stay, in contact with the regions' culture. A definite plus compare to impersonal international hotels. Breakfast is generous and served on time as per German tradition. The hotel also has a small fish farm right behind and fish is on the menu! Many thanks to the owner for our excellent experience. We do not hesitate to recommend.”

“The bedroom and shower room were very spacious, clean and well provided. There was easy parking near the hotel. We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer had we not needed to move on. We also found an excellent restaurant in Horb where we ate our evening meal.”

“We were welcomed by the very friendly lady owner, arriving much later than expected, which was no problem at all. The hotel is in a very tranquil setting and our bedrooms overlooked the trout lakes (each room at the back of the hotel has a balcony). The rooms were large and very clean with comfortable beds and the bathrooms were spotless with good showers. We had a super dinner (trout of course!) and a lovely breakfast the following morning with plenty to choose from. We would recommend this hotel for its quiet setting, spotless rooms and lovely food.”

“Das Zimmer ging zu den Forellenteichen hinaus. Dies war sehr interessant und stimmungsvoll. Es war ruhig und sehr gut für diese Preisklasse eingerichtet. Im Bett konnte ich sehr gut schlafen. Das Frühstück war reichlich und gut. Die Speisekarte im Restaurant mit den vielen Forellengerichten und auch anderen Speisen war reichhalt. Die Forelle, die ich gewählt habe war sehr gut. Ich werde irgend einmal wieder in diesem Holtel absteigen.”
