“THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL! Underfloor heating, towel warmers, bath salts (with 2 bottles of bubblebath) a bottle of champagne for my partner's birthday, the FOOD MY GOD THE FOOD. The spa was wonderful too - not too full, with every amenity you could ask for. even the tea/coffee facilities in the room were beyond "necessities". Our car was given a wash without us even asking, and the addition of a jug of water (with lemon on the side) at turn down service was very thoughtful. Its the small things you know? Our favourite thing about Fordoun though, is the staff. Every single one of the staff - on the grounds, in the restaurant, in the spa, reception, even the ladies that cleaned / prepped the rooms - went above and beyond what was asked. They were all very well presented and friendly: Outstanding. Truly deserving of a 5 star rating.”
