“My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Floyd, the whole experience was excellent. The building is new, located in large grounds, good parking, an "alpine" style which fits in with the town and the area. Nice patio seating area. The room was large and well appointed, comfortable bed, well fitted out bathroom and space for sitting. All of the staff were very friendly, from the minute you walk up to the desk you felt welcomed and in good hands. Excellent coffee is always available (complimentary) and there is also great local beer available to purchase. Good breakfast buffet was available in the morning. The staff gave us lots of valuable insight into the town where there is lots to see. A really interesting town and shops, many restaurants and cafes, lots of association with music. We wish we had planned to stay for more than one night. We would highly recommend the hotel and area.”

“Excellent location just two blocks from downtown Floyd. Lots to see and do in Floyd. Live music about once a week in the hotel. Really comfortable room and bed. The room was very quiet with plenty of towels and good water pressure. Very friendly and helpful staff. Floyd is a beautiful destination close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. A must-see.”
