“The room was spacious and clean, host was very friendly and helpful.”

“The room was clean and super comfortable, the beds were great and the sheets were regularly changed, we even had a pretty big and cozy balcony, although the room we booked didn't have one, which is impressive! The hotel is very close to everything: the sea, the supermarket, the cafes and restaurants. We didn't have regrets about anything in the town or hotel altogether.”

“If you want to feel yourself as a part of Greek family -- go to stay in Hotel Ephy with lovely family who running the hotel. The owner, Mike, was very helpful with everything - from scooter renting to recommending places to go. Him and his wife took us to the fish market where we bought fish we like and they cooked it for us for dinner. We even were envited to family dinner with great food, house wine and friendly conversation. For 9 days of our stay breakfast never was the same. We never taste nothing like Mike's homemade cheese with honey. We cannot thanks enough for their hospitality and would like to come back sometime.”

“A very friendly and quiet place in a traditional greek style. The owner's family lives there and always is ready to help. We stayed for 4 nights and really would like to stay more and come back next year! Simple - it is the main word here. Souvala is a quiet fishermen village, and the ferry stop is next to the hotel (so the sea in right there, but the nearest beach is not really great for swimming, if you don't like other people from the beach bar staring at you). This also means that twice a day there is a show of a ferry arriving, people boarding and then leaving. Many restaurants you will find along the quay, there is a big choice of traditional food. And also there is a very nice small sand beach in 5-7 minutes walking - ask in the hotel how to get there! So, in general, I would recommend this place for a quiet family rest in the end of the season (we stayed there in the end of September)”

“The situation of the hotel is amazing, just going out of the boat, you can find it at 1 minute by foot. And you are just in front of the sea which you can see from your window and small balcony, ideal. The people here are so nice and doing everything they can so that we could enjoy our staying to the maximum : helping us renting scooters, discover the best places of the island. The ambiance is very friendly and you feel right at home. The room is also perfect, with AC and a small balcony, you can swim right out of the hotel, and find nice typical restaurants in the port (2 minutes walking). I warmly recommend the Efi hotel for all these reasons and many more, I will go back here as soon as I'm in Egina - Souvala again.”

“Nice, friendly, helpful family hotel. Helped us with everything needed, took big part in making our vacation wonderful. Just by the sea,( we preferred the quiet little stone beach just under the Italian restaurant on the hill, 2 min walk from the hotel, than loutra beach). Nice clean rooms. To eat we really liked maratonas village (recommend by our host) and the beach aeginitissa we really liked, beautiful, quiet, nice people.”
