“The bed and room were great, breakfast was a delightful experience - both the staff and the guests were friendly and kind. All in all, my stayed was a perfect beginning to a long journey across the mid-west.”

“Historic old hotel with potential for a great stay.”

“Very well decorated with period pieces.... beautiful old hotel... Staff nice... Food service timely...”

“The historic charm of the property was great, and the outside seating area was very pretty. The double room we stayed in was huge and the bathroom was nice. I liked the custom bedspreads and the attention to detail paid to the furnishings. I needed to do laundry, given that I was on a cross-country move, and there is a small, clean laundromat on the next block over that was easy to walk to. There's also a small, cool coffeehouse cattycorner to the hotel to get whatever caffeine you might need for your drive.”

“EXCELLENT ATMOSPHERE!!! Best place throughout our trip.”

, USA

“Bed is okay. Trains come thru 3x during night. Dining room service & food were only fair. No breakfast. Coffee was promised in the early AM, but was not furnished. Mgmt was poor.”

, USA

“Breakfast quiche, sweet rolls and oatmeal was a great bonus.”

, USA

“Utterly charming, comfortable, and well-maintained and updated 19th century in-town hotel. Staff was friendly. Seemed to have an acceptable restaurant on-site.”
