“Fantastic service, the staff are very helpful, friendly and kind. The owner - señor Lucas - took us on a day-trip to the waterfall in Minca and were so kind to help us getting to Palomino. Even though we had some language barriers it was a pleasant stay (the wifi is the best we've had in all of Colombia, so google translating quickly deleted that) :) Extremely clean, quiet and tidy, really nice beds and fab. air-con! Nice beaches nearby (10 min. walk) Even though the address is within Santa Marta, be aware that the hotel is about 10 km away from the city center. It is easy and cheap to take the local bus into the center (centro Mercado) but just as a heads up. The plus side of it being outside the center is that is away from all the partying in the center and, hence, really quiet - which was nice for us. Also, taking the bus into the center you go through some small villages on the road which is a memorable experience!”
