“Great location in the historic centre and within easy walking distance of all of the main sites. The hotel itself is old and historic and the included breakfast was really good for the price paid. The room was small but comfortable and the shower was surprisingly good with decent water pressure and heat. Most of the front desk staff spoke English which was really helpful as well.”
“The breakfast was the best I've had in my two months in Colombia so far. They have a great buffet on the top floor so you can enjoy a nice breeze and the cityscape while you eat. There was fresh fruit, omelets, cake, bread, croissants, turkey/ham/cheeses, sandwiches, white rice, beans, chicken nuggets (which I thought was strange) and some more traditional Colombian foods. WELL worth the money! The pool was also really nice in the heat. The sun doesn't really hit it so it's kept pretty cool and refreshing. Most of the staff speaks english and are very helpful. And the location was absolutely perfect, in the center of the old city with easy access to a store a few doors down, plenty of ATMs locally, and lots of shops! We had a wonderful stay in this hotel!”

“Good location. One block away to clock tower. Busy street so you will feel safe. A supermarket is just next few doors. Stuffs are very friendly. They speak little English but is good enough for basic communication. The breakfast area is on the top of building so you can get city overview. The breakfast is above basic but is the best over the all hotels I stayed in Colombia. WiFi single is fair.”

“Stayed here twice during our vacation in Cartagena. First time we were given a nice room on the upper floor. Second time we got one room on the 4th floor which wasn't as nice (beds were harder), but bigger. AC wasn't working well but they fixed it right away. +Staff is very friendly and helpful. + Breakfast is good and varied, but if there were large tour groups staying a couple of nights, everything would be gone quickly and not always refilled. + Location is perfect. Close to everything. - Pool area could use a bit of maintenance and they definetely need new pool towels. - Beds were a little hard”
