“the lovely red headed lady who served us breakfast - was she the fruit lady or the hotel receptionist? she was very nice and hospitable, saved a breakfast item for us as requested on our 2nd day. nice to chat to. wifi was good, we did not use the pool but it looked clean we were in a quad room and I slept on a fold out bed which was not the best but the other 3 single beds were good”
“The (almost adjoining) restaurant 'El Cid' belongs to the same family and really does deserve its Michelin 2017 recommendation. Really enjoyed our short visit, but will always struggle with the Spanish evening meal opening times!”

“This beautiful, traditional Spanish hotel was an oasis after a long ride. Victor and his staff were so accommodating. Rooms were faultless and the bathroom even had toothbrushes and a razor pack in addition to the normal shower gel, shampoo etc. Underground secure parking for our motorcycle was amazing. Restaurant next door serving excellent Spanish food and a heated swimming pool. This must be the best value hotel in Northern Spain.”
