“What an incredible setting for a hotel. My room looked out onto the Valdivia River. There was a lovely walkway along the river and the hotel was very close to the town centre. It was comfortable and very nicely furnished, with courteous staff. However, the standout feature for me was Valdivia itself. It's my first visit to South America and I fell in love with this town. Very few people spoke English, but everyone was so incredibly courteous, polite, gracious and generous. A lovely people!”
