“Easy access to beaches - both public (€18ish for 2 beds and umbrella) and limited, but very acceptable, public beach access - both immediately side by side. 5 min walk along shore line to fantastic bar overseeing harbour and further 5-10 min walk to lovely town (old and new) and 100+ restaurants to choose from. Great place and lovely Italians and very few Brits!!!!!!”
“We found this hotel excellent value for money, after illness we needed a few days of total relaxation and we found it at the Hotel Degli Haethey. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable with a good balcony with sea views. The restaurant was also good value with a four course meal including water and wine for just €25. We know Otranto quite well but were so comfortable and relaxed at this hotel that we rarely ventured out. We went in early June and found that most days we had the pool to ourselves.”
