What guests loved the most

“There's an excellent 1* star Michelin restaurant on site which is a real bonus. Rooms were large for a city hotel and comfortable Lots of hot water in the bathrooms. Very good breakfast”

, Netherlands

“Wonderful location and an excellent restaurant. A fabulous meal”

, United Kingdom

“Proper 4 star hotel with everything you would expect. Michellin star restaurant (which we didn't try as the prices started at 70Euro per set menu). Close to the beach boardwalk.”

, Hong Kong

“The bed was very comfy. The parking was great. Loved the pool area.”

, United Kingdom

“The staff were excellent, location good, room (No 24) was good size, very clean and comfortable. General ambiance very pleasant. The restaurant was very good, food superb, but the wine was overpriced.”

, United Kingdom

“We liked everything about the Hotel, room was very comfy bed was very good as I have trouble with my back, but as the bed was not a hard bed everything was fine. The food was really extra special, as was the service.”

, United Kingdom

“Family friendly. So close to the beach and aquarium. Great food, service and the swimming pool/spa are is great.”

, France

“Reception was good but given that we had booked a comfort room, it was poor - we overlooked what was obviously the staff smoking area in a small courtyard and were woken with a strong smell of cigarettes. The bed was seriously uncomfortable. The dining room was good as was the service but the costs were quite ridiculous for a provincial hotel, especially the wine list which offered bottles from €45 - €145! The food was good but pretentious presumably to justify the inflated costs. That said there were plenty of diners. Breakfast was excellent and about average cost at €16 each. Overall we paid €367 for dinner (including a €46 bottle of wine!) bed and breakfast; we left with a feeling that we had been seriously ripped off and would not stay there again because of the less than excellent room, poor bed and grossly inflated prices..”

, United Kingdom

“Meal in the restaurant was excellent, little pricey but Michelin star”

, United Kingdom

“The excellent reataurant and the very good breakfast.”
