“The hotel is very interesting and a lot if creativity went into all guest communication, which I loved. The rooms are small, confortable, apart from the bathroom. The toilet is in its own tiny compartment, however you have to walk accross the room to wash your hands and the shower is in a glass compartment - so it is completley see-through... We only stayed for one night so it was fine for us, but it can be uncomfortbale. Also, there is no mini bar and no closet in the room. Apart from that - cute and afordable.”
“The receptionist gave us a great recommendation for an authentic Austrian restaurant nearby! It’s a really nice cosy and inviting atmosphere in the restaurant with helpful and friendly staff. Great cocktails and cakes!”
“loved the design and history, room was amazing, bed was incredibly comfortable. the whole thought, humour and design put into the hotel is excellent”
“The room (double) is nice and clean. The hammock is a nice touch :). The breakfast is amazing. Overall a good experience especially is 5 min away from my place of business.”
“I always thought it could be nice to stay at Daniel; I passed along there a lot in the past and found its entrance welcoming. When my other favorite hotels in the area were full I took the chance, where I even dragged a colleague with me to stay in the same hotel. Due to the complicated arrangements of our separate bookings and arrival times etc. the ladies at the check in were very helpful. A nicely clothed interested gentleman is hovering around during the day time, I take him to be their manager; so things are likely to be as they are quite a long time with the continued admin presence. Decoration and product sale ideas are nice and the Bakery produces a very nice Tiramisu in a cup and the Apricot-Tomato soup is very tasty. The rooms are interestingly decorated and not to a neutral taste. Shower was brilliant and the spacious feel of the room quite catching.”
“I really liked the staff. They all were extremely helpful. Especially the staff at the reception desk and at the restaurant.”
“Urban stay, great for digital nomads. Nice lobby with restaurant and self-made products like honey and tshirts. The hammock in the room is such a delightful surprise :) Very close to the central station, so good for travels commuting between cities”
“Excellent breakfast. Original design. Very nice staff.”
“Right next door to the Daniel Hotel is the Belvedere Palace. Close by to the hotel you catch a tram, subway or bus. The city is only minutes away via public transport. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Vienna.”
“Ideally located for exploring Vienna. Close to trains, trams; around the corner of the Belvedere and botanical gardens; bikes and scooters for hire at the hotel. Airco in summer is a lifesaver.”
