What guests loved the most
“We had a lovely room, decorated in white with black and wood. Good bathroom with nice shower. The hotel is located right next to a small street with some nice bars (check out The Old Pharmacy) and on the waterfront. You can use the swimming pool from the ‘mother hotel’ Estalagem, which is superb. The restaurant is good, but especially the breakfast is impressive, with lots of fresh fruit, pastries and cooked items. For the breakfast, I would give a 10!”
“Great location with balcony overlooking the sea. Rooms were black & white minimalist, comfy bed & powerful shower. Best of all you can use the facilities at the sister hotel, the Estalagem Ponta do Sol which had an amazing position up the hill overlooking the town.”

“Location was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was a great start to each day, with a wide range of choices. Staff were incredibly helpful. Access to the sister hotel and its facilities is the real icing on the cake. It has an amazing pool overlooking the ocean and stunning views in every direction. Hotel aimed more for adults so not really for families. Restaurants at both the hotels offered a superb range of both food and wine.”

“Ponta do Sol it's a charming place and the hotel was no exception. The location is perfect as you have all the bars and restaurants close by. Using the other hotel's facilities made a world of a diference and we have enjoyed immensely both the pool and the view. Most staff are extremely attentive and polite. ”

Facilities from sister hotel are fab (Hotel Da Vila is cheaper and in my opinion much nicer and intimate than Estelagem so double win). We very enjoyed the breakfast. “we received a free upgrade of our double room and they gave us a wonderful penthouse, perfect for my family with a baby and a toddler. the hotel is really kid-friendly! they made us two cots and two highchairs available for our children. breakfast is gorgeus and hotel staff is very kind and helpful.”
