“Nice location on a nice enough church square. Guayaquil airport is right in the city so it only takes a short trip in a taxicab to get to the hotel, which made it ideal to stop here overnight en route to the Galapagos. The hotel ain`t far from the Malecon, where you can spend an hour or so strolling up and down and maybe climb the hill at the end. We ate in the restaurant in the eve, which was pretty nice, although we didn`t order anything too adventurous. If memory serves me correctly, we didn`t have breakfast, although they did have some sort of early breakfast available for those departing in the wee small hours. Room was clean and comfortable. So, good for a stopover on the way to the G-Pogs.”
