“25 steps up 45 degree angle stairs to reception desk---after I wasassured 1st floor room---there is no 1st floor. Took staff 30mins. Tofind my reservation and tried to overcharge me. No english ability. Wasscheduled for 4 nights-left after one! This place is dump and suggestyou take off site!!! Woud not recommend to worst enemy!!!”

“For somebody who wasn't expecting (and didn't need) a luxury hotel in Poblado, this hotel was perfect. My room at Hotel Conquistadores had a perfectly comfortable bed, a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and was cleaned daily. The staff was incredibly friendly and the location was ideal for daily travels around town, as it is only a few short blocks from Plaza Botero and the Parque Berrio metro station (as well as several museums, parks/plazas and other points of interest). I never had concerns about safety while at the hotel, as there is a posted guard outside at night and everyone needs to be buzzed inside in order to enter. I will most definitely be staying here again when I return to Medellin. Thanks again Hotel Conquistadores! I loved my time there!”
“Location rocks; beautiful view of parque centenario. Wonderful staff! Raphael and the owner were particularly excellent. We had a small flood problem in the room, and they dealt with it expertly by moving our room immediately and apologizing perfusely. Breakfast was small, but decent: real scrambled eggs, fruit bowl and a few pieces of toast.”
