“Stayed in Log Chalet during half term ski trip (uk).Loved the location, views, staff were extremely helpfull and accomodating. Great alternative to pricey Montgenevre but ideally located on Italian side of border and a very short drive or ski to Montgenevre. Having been to both, Claviere is by far the prettier option has better restaurants and this Hotel with its chalets occupies an enviable mountain gorge side location with spectacular views down the valley. We had great snow which made it beautiful. Didnt dine there as was self catering but did get to sample the lovely home made canapes which were great. The restaurant was always full as was the associated Pizza Restaurant Marianelos which seemed a local fave. Despite the issues I raise in the "didnt like" section, my overall experience here was very favourable and pleasant. I cannot praise the staff and management enough. Thanks for a great week. .”
“We stayed in one of the Chalets in the grounds of the hotel. It was really lovely and had everything that we could possibly need. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay. The staff were great. The gym was great for one of us who couldn't ski for the week because of a previous injury.”
