“Arrived late but the kitchen staff made dinner for our party and gave us a choice of pizza or pasta (also got soup and salad). Breakfast of eggs, fresh fruit, cheese, hot bread and mora and tree tomato (tomate de arbol) juice was much more than expected. Hotel arranged for a taxi to the train station in Alausí (30 minute ride). Great experience!”
“Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were allocated a nice big room but couldn't get a wifi signal. We explained that this was important as we needed to plan each leg of our journey in Ecuador. We were then given a complimentary upgrade to an enormous suite with kitchen and en-suite Jacuzzi. We stayed here purposely to go on the devils nose train ride and the upgrade really made the stay more enjoyable.”
