“Auronzo can be complicated to get to - strongly suggest traveling via the Cortina Express bus - but is beautiful. The Hotel Centrale was delightful and the hosts, Elena, her brother, and her mother, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Elena, with whom I interacted the most, speaks excellent English. They went above and beyond to assist me in getting a Cortina Express ticket back to Venice. My room had a lovely little balcony and the views were breathtaking. The hotel and my room were spotlessly clean, and Wi-Fi was consistent; though I didn't use it, I understand there is some sort of spa in the hotel. There was a very pleasant Continental breakfast laid out in the morning; I didn't eat at the hotel in the evening. Situated along the main road, yet still quiet, the Hotel Centrale is an easy walk to the bus stop, cafes, shops, church, and the beautiful lake below the town.”
