And to top it all it was a Silver wedding anniversary and the hotel supplied us with a complimentary bottle of Laurent Perrier champagne and chocolate strawberries. “As a solo guest I didn't like being seated in the centre of the restaurant when a more discreet and private perimeter table would have been more comfortable without being the centrre of attention. The Bell Boy check out at the Cafe Royal is not good as per previous stays. I was waiting for a car to collect and the Bell Boy told me to wait inside and he took the bags curbside. After 17 minutes I checked outside to find bags loaded in the limo and the Driver had been waiting all that time without anyone advising me! Same thing last time we were leaving bags and car outside but Bell Boy stated not arrived yet and he would let us know!!”
