“The hotel is perfectly situated in the Center of the tiny Durău village at the foothills of the Ceahlău Massif and is a great starting point for exploring that beautiful area. The hotel itself appears to be the "fanciest" in the village, and has some extra perks like a wet sauna, its own bar and dance floor (open only on weekends), a small gym and even a pool table. It also has an on premise restaurant, but we only tried its breakfast, which was good and worth the price. The room was good, with a balcony, and the beds were super comfortable. One of the staff helped us out tremendously by arranging the transportation of our large backpacks from Izvoru Muntelui to Durău the day before so we could hike the mountain packing light.”
