“It's just 100 metres from JR Saga Arashiyama and next to kimono wargo rental place. The town is lovely to walk but most of the shop closed early around 18.00 hrs on weekday. Some small restaurant and nice cafe near hotel.”

“Great location to the train station and the traditional style Japanese breakfast was lovely. All the staff greeted us, and the rooms were spacious.”
“Wonderful location near an interesting and charming part of Kyoto. Bamboo Forest and Tenryu-ji Temple in walking distance. Super friendly people, good sized room, great crafts shop with items made locally. And the mango juice at the cafe off the lobby is to die for! Could see making this a base for a week long stay in Kyoto.”
“Incredibly friendly staff who try their darndest to provide in all circumstances. Hotel itself has recently been renovated to be accessible for all, including those who are differently abled. Located at a left turn as you exit the nearest train station, and within 10 mins walk of all major attractions and facilities in the area. Room was pleasant, cosy, and very well appointed. Planning on returning when I have a spare few days in the near future.”
“The quiet and peaceful surroundings of the hotel, yet situated next to the train station, very convenient.”
“The room is relatively spacious than those in Kyoto centre. It's just located next to the train station which favours travellers with luggages. Walkable distance in Arashiyama - enjoying nice view everywhere!”
“Good location and clean room. Dinner at hotel restaurant was exceed expectations, reasonable price with good quality”
“A good place to stay if you are going to take the Sagano Romantic train.”
“The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was cosy. We liked the Japanese breakfast too.”
