“Small hotel with few rooms and no lift. Not a problem for us as we had only overnight bags to carry up two floors. Lovely man acting as receptionist who misinformed use with great charm about the parking (we did need to pay as it wasn't yet 6.30) and the time of the Son et Lumiere, so we arrived, having stayed up specially for it, just as it was ending! But he was very sweet. Breakfast was basic but fine. Not a great deal of choice and the fruit was fruit and not fruit salad. I would stay there again.”

“The location is terrific right in the middle of town and I guess walking distance from everything you would want to see in Tours - I only guess because we didn't want to see everything in Tours. The folks there were extremely obliging and the breakfast without fault. The manager gave us a bigger room than we'd booked gratis. We parked off-street and down by the river - it wasn't a drama. It's not a brilliant room but then you wouldn't expect that for the price . . . but the service is better than you pay for.”

“While the hotel doesn't look like much on the outside, inside it is warm, welcoming, clean and comfortable. It is in a perfect part of the city, easy walking distance from the train station, cathedral, bridges and old district. The room is simple yet everything I needed, including a massive, cozy extra blanket for a chilly night. The breakfast was good quality and filling, and the proprietor was so helpful, friendly and patient with my terrible French! If I ever come back to Tours I will definitely stay here again.”
