“Relaxing location with nearby Pula a 30 minute walk away, so no drink and driving issues. Did not use the restaurant in the evenings as preferred to use those in Pula. Have had mixed quality hotel evening meals at Baia in the past but menu seems to have improved. Good beach with protective reef and lifeguard on duty. Good pool in garden. Went off-peak so not too busy. Staff very obliging with good English. Floors always shining compared with those of similar hotel up the coast that we visited with view to staying next time. Garden manicured and peaceful. Usually plenty of safe parking. Third stay at this hotel. Flew BA to Cagliari so no red-eye flights and short trip to Nora. Picked up car from Locauto on the airport who are very reputable apart from the queue as people deliberate over whether to take the Excess waiver (take it if you do not have your own Excess cover at one-third the cost).”
