We were met with a warm welcome, and next morning were given a magnificent breakfast in Café Vincente around the corner. The owner Vincente was the perfect host a really delightful man. His personality is reflected in his gorgeous hotel and beautiful café. We will never forget our visit to Avienda Real it was one of the highlights of our walk on the Camino Norte”

“This was a last minute booking but a lovely small hotel in a small friendly historic town. Great food and mostly pedestrian. Parking on the street was difficult to find but not impossible. You could walk everywhere anyway. Definitely no tourists seen!”

For us, it was perfect. Quaint and beautiful. Maybe, the apple wine, friendly service, great restaurants and super breakfast, is clouding our judgement - so be it.”
