“A small family operated hotel. This hotel has had some upgrades done in the last year or so.Our room was quite small but the washroom was really brand new. The breakfast was adequate with enough choice( cereals, yogurt, cheeses, cold cuts etc.) The location was excellent for getting into Venice in about 15 minutes depending on the traffic situation.The walk from the hotel to the tram or bus is about 5 to 10 minutes. We loved the neighbourhood with cafes and very good restaurants.( enjoyed the food and service at the Garibaldi restaurant which is a one minute walk from the hotel.) Travel time from Mestre Train station is 15 minutes by bus or 5 minutes by taxi. All in all we were pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was and a very safe area.”
