“The host were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for me. And my balcony, which was a good size, was directly above the waves. I know Tolo, having stayed there a few times over the years, and we have used it as a wind down after touring the Peloponnese and reasonably convenient for the return flight. This time I was alone as went there for the weekend in the middle of a 2 week business trip to Athens but have stayed Tolo with my wife and children, and it is a good place for kids, with a sandy very gently sloping beach so very safe. This is a small, pleasant hotel family run, nice people and you eat breakfast etc a few feet from the waves. The ruins of the Mycenaean citadel Assine is worth a visit as they have tarted it up and made access very easy with steps, pathways etc, so it is no longer a scramble to the top.”
