“This place is wonderful. It is a new building which preserves the traditional way of building in these villages of the Peloponnesus. The inner decoration is very modern, with a lot of thought and good taste design. George, the owner, was super helpful, assisted us on combining the perfect routes for our daytrip, and was at our disposal for everything needed. He turned out to be also an excellent cook, and has prepared a wonderful breakfast and a delicious dinner (all made from local fresh materials). It is the best place for a quite getaway, just couple of hours drive out of Athens, located among magnificent views. We will sure be back.”

“Archontiko Anyfanti is a family run hotel in a wonderfully restored old house that in old times served as a weavery. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and any kind of information and help we needed. The rooms are really spacious and offer luxurious comfort in modern design. The breakfast with home-made traditional specialities was rich and delicious. The hotel is situated in a small traditional Arcadian village and we can recommend the place to everyone loving quietness and nature. After a few kms' drive you reach Dimitsina which is (besides Steminitsa which is a bit further away) more or less the touristic centre within the region. Archontiko Anyfanti in Zatouna is a perfect starting point for exploring the region with its rich history and culture within almost unspoilt nature. The old byzantine monasteries along Lousios gorge are just overwhelming.”
