“. We arrived at the hotel am Wald and were given room 209 which had a good view back over the forest. The hotel is on a steep hill going out of the little town. It seems to be used a lot for business meetings and conferences, as well as weddings etc. Most evenings there was something going on. The staff were friendly. Enjoyed dinner at the hotel. Shared rindkraftbruhe then had Argentinan steak and Ruth had perch. It was well cooked and tast4d good.”

“Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker.Zum Abend haben wir a la Carte gegessen,sehr schmackhaft und für jeden Hunger etwas dabei. Was etwas nervte,war,dass man in der Wanne geduscht hat,aber kein Duschvorhang o ä davor war.So spritzte das Wasser überall hin.Kegelbahn prima.”

“Ein Anruf im Hotel und wir wurden vom Bahnhof abgeholt - und natürlich auch wieder zum Zug gefahren. Das Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück war super und abends haben wir nach Karte Thüringer Spezialitäten gegessen. Die Wanderwege um den Ort sind sehr gut ausgeschildert. Wer länger Zeit hat und neben einfachen Wanderungen die Umgebung erkunden möchte, sollte besser per Auto anreisen.”
