“I am tempted to say this place is really awful in the hopes that I could always book it when I wanted. The truth is this place is a little gem. The family that run the hotel bend over backwards to cater for client's needs. Food is truly excellent even though the choice is limited. The views are breathtaking in all directions. Non-skiers can go for a walk on the plateau. Food prices are reasonable. Our family room's bathroom and wc have both been fully modernised. The room has a glass door on to the balcony. At night I could gaze up at the stars while laying in bed. How many hotels can you do that? The room also gets made up daily and rubbish emptied. ESI (recommend) and ESF ski schools operate on the plateau.”
“We enjoyed a 4 night stay in January and it was almost exactly what we expected. The mountain views are beautiful. There was no wifi but internet was accessible via a very good phone signal if you wanted it. Skiing straight onto the piste was amazing. The food was wonderful and the staff lovely. The last lift is at 16.30 so we spent every evening at the hotel but if you really wanted to you could walk up from the town if you knew what you were doing.”
