“A friend's wedding brought me from Northern UK to Normandy. The venue itself was in the middle of nowhere and the Hotel Altina was in the perfect location for me (10 minutes away). The staff were welcoming when I arrived tired on the first night and checked me in without hassle for a great night's sleep. On the day of the wedding I took advantage of their delicious continental breakfast and made myself ready for the festivities in good time, only to find out there were no taxis available in the area. After unsuccessfully trying to get hold of an Uber, and getting quite frustrated at the prospect of, after travelling for ten hours, missing my friend's wedding ten minutes away, one of the members of staff VERY kindly offered to give me a lift. I'm sure this isn't a service they'd like to promote as standard, but they absolutely saved me from missing the wedding of one of my oldest friends - for this I'll be forever grateful.”
