“It was in a perfect location, very picturesque and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very large and we felt immediately comfortable with the welcoming fruit and water on the coffee table. The beds were really comfy and pillow was awesome. We enjoyed a small breakfast in a very tidy breakfast room filled with home furnishings and the happy face of the owner taking care of our every breakfast request.”
“Pleasant small hotel. The ultra-helpful proprietor, Susan, also speaks excellent English. I had a suite with a mini-kitchen, dining table and sofa, as well as the bedroom. Be aware that Annaberg is a mountain town. Don't try to walk from the station (at the bottom) to the hotel (at the top) with suitcases! Get a bus from outside the station (there won't be any taxis) to the market square. If you are self-catering, bear in mind that the supermarkets are right at the bottom of the town, by the station. The bio food shop at Wolkensteiner Str. 27 is probably the nearest to this hotel. Annaberg is a charming small town and a good starting point for trips into the mountains - and excursions on the local steam-trains.”
“I had a really warm welcome from this older gentleman in the reception who also spoke good english. I stayed in the affordable 18 square meter room which was on the ground floor. Quiet and totally fine room. Nothing to complain about this hotel.”
