“It was our first time in Venice and it was so easy to catch the Aliguna boat into Venice on the Orange line and took around an hour. From the boat stop, it was a two minute walk up the alleyway without crossing any bridges. So easy to find and ideally located for exploring Venice. Staff were friendly and set up our room beautifully for our anniversary. We had a canal view from our window which was great when gondolas with people being serenaded as they passed! It was very mild for November albeit high tide but we weren’t really affected by it - very exciting!”
“Excellent breakfasts - the best we had in Italy. We paid an additional fee to upgrade to a room overlooking the small canal next to the hotel. The room was spacious and attractive but the canal can only be seen by opening the widow and leaning over the sill. Since mosquitos are a problem in Venice, we got little value out of the view.”
